The Cellfield Reading Programme is a specialized approach designed to enhance literacy skills through tailored strategies.
Cellfield is a treatment which targets the ability to learn how to read. Those who had undertaken the Cellfield treatment, usually experience a ‘step-increase’ in their reading skills and continue to improve faster than what they could before the Cellfield treatment. Scientific evaluations have shown improvements of up to 12 months in Comprehension skills, and 23 months in decoding ability in the 2 week treatment.
Most treatment providers target only the auditory and some target just the visual pathways. Seldom do they target both. None so far target the auditory to visual bridging area, which Cellfield does. Cellfield is unique in targeting all three simultaneously by using computer science.
This program is ideal for individuals struggling with reading fluency and comprehension.
The programme is a 10 1-hour session programme that is done over 2-3 weeks. The school holidays are an ideal time to enrol your child.
There is an assessment to determine progress made over the 10 sessions. After which your child will be enrolled in continued weekly, one-on-one sessions in order to continue momentum gained over the programme. These sessions focus on more specific skill in reading, writing and comprehension.
